SPEAKER PROPOSAL with Author Nancy J. Cohen

Multi-published author Nancy J. Cohen is available to give presentations to groups. She can offer reviews of her books, workshops on how to get published, advanced writing topics, or a discussion of the writing life in general. She has spoken at libraries, conferences, community groups, university classes, and cruise ships. Her books have been on the IMBA bestseller list, and she’s won the HOLT Medallion Award. Author of 18 published novels, Ms. Cohen is listed in Contemporary Authors, Poets & Writers, and Who’s Who in U.S. Writers, Editors, & Poets.  Nancy Podium

The purpose of her visits is to raise interest in reading, to educate the public and other authors, and to increase awareness of the publishing industry.

Programs may be customized for the audience and include anecdotes based on the author’s personal experiences. Time for Q&A is allowed.

Six-Part Fiction Writing Workshop ($fee per class): Characterization, Plotting, World Building, Self-Editing, Submissions, Marketing

Arrangements For Special Guest Appearances

(1)   Fees: $350 in Florida, $500 out-of-state; plus travel expenses (i.e. flights, taxi fare, hotel if flying or if two hour or more drive is involved, gas allowance). Payment is to be paid upon arrival or upon presentation of first workshop. Fees may be discounted or waived under special circumstances.

(2)   Letter of agreement; E-mail is acceptable.

(3)   Publicity for the event.

(4)   Display of author’s books for sale with autographing opportunities.
