Earlier this week, I had the unique experience of attending the Tables Extraordinaire exhibition at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Maitland. This amazing event shares some of the ticket proceeds with local charities. This was my first visit, and it won’t be my last. The ballroom held a multitude of decorated table settings, which ranged from elaborate to spectacular! Here I am with Es Cohen and Bonnie Koski.
Each theme had not only one-of-a-kind place settings, but also décor including place cards, party favors, special lighting, and other amazing designs. The members who planned these tables must have some serious decorating skills. See if you can guess the themes of these tablescapes. And these are just a sample of everything. The details were fantastic.
I especially was impressed by the ice cave and the train scenarios.
After viewing the displays, we headed into the cafeteria for a Greek-style lunch. In other nearby rooms were a small gift shop, and art gallery with works for sale, and a pastry shop with Greek specialties. All in all, it was a fun outing suggested by the Ethel Gathering Group of Central Florida.

Absolutely beautiful. I enjoy looking at table settings. Our Pen women have our luncheon upstairs at Neiman Marcus where they have several gorgeous settings. Glad you enjoyed it.
I’ll bet the Neiman Marcus event is lovely. I miss being near Boca Town Center and Nordstrom.
Very Cool, Nancy. Not only would it be a nice time, but with some of the proceeds going to charity makes it a win/win.
Yes, this is true. I understand they change the displays each year and I’d like to go again.
