On board RCCL’s Allure of the Seas, you’ll never go hungry. Food is available at numerous venues throughout the day. Specialty restaurants, casual eateries, and formal dining rooms served guests at night. From pizza or hot dogs to lobster and beef filet, you have plenty of choices.
Breakfast was my favorite meal. I really miss those high-protein laden plates, but not the cholesterol. We tended to end up in the Windjammer Café —which is bizarrely designed on this ship—or in the Solarium Bistro for the breakfast buffet. One day we got served at Johnny Rockets, with a pleasant view of the Boardwalk.

Lunch was either a buffet again, a loaded hot dog with potato salad and Cole slaw outside on the Boardwalk, or a meal shoreside on an excursion. Central Park also has a café for casual dining. We tried the Mexican food one time, and pizza another day.

We ate in 150 Central Park for one specialty dinner. I got pumpkin soup and veal medallions. Since my friend, Ann Meier, had a birthday this month, she got serenaded and gifted a slice of birthday cake.

Waiters sang or led conga lines during Dinner in the main dining room. This festive spirit added a nice touch to the evening. Dinner menus here offered a suitable variety.

Overall, I gained three pounds. Now I am working to get my weight down to my normal level so I’m ready for the next cruise!
