Utopia of the Seas March 2026 – Nassau

Nassau has some unique places to visit, aside from the beaches, forts, and other attractions. Sybil Bradley, my cruising pal, and I climbed up a hill to see Graycliff Hotel recommended by my friend, Ann Meier. We didn’t book the afternoon tea but just wanted to see this historic site. The hotel is lovely inside with an elegant ambiance. Nearby are shops selling hand-rolled cigars, artisan chocolates, wine and souvenirs. Be careful of the traffic if you walk here. Going downhill back into town was much easier.

We also toured the Pirates of Nassau Museum, which was a fun and educational experience. A French Corvette sailing ship is represented in a dimly lit wharf section. This room segues into others that shows life aboard a ship during those days.
