Utopia of the Seas March 2026 – Coco Cay

Coco Cay in the Bahamas is a frequent stop for RCCL cruise ships. I’ve been here several times already. It’s a long walk down the pier, but then you can take a tram ride to the various beaches.

There’s a separate thrill ride area and splash pools for little kids, a freeform pool with a swim-up bar, and various beaches. We headed to Chill Beach to sit in a shaded lounge chair and sip our rum drinks. Lounge chairs are provided for free, and there’s a towel station on the island for beach towels.

We browsed the native market shops and ate the complimentary barbecue lunch.

It’s a free beach day and a time to relax off the ship, or don’t get off if that’s your choice. You can get the same food in the Windjammer Café for lunch. After eating, we headed back to the ship to enjoy the air-conditioning and have a rest.

This ends my journey on board Utopia of the Seas. The short itineraries are a good introduction to cruising for first-timers or for seasoned cruisers to have a quick getaway.
